At the premiere of Falling on 8 October we were joined by Viggo Mortensen and Lance Henriksen via Skype. The two screen icons took us through the making of the film. The recording of this remarkable conversation is available in the news item.

The sixth edition of the festival from 17 to 22 August 2020, also in Kinodvor!

Join us from 11 to 13 August for free public screenings of three classic films.

Kinodvor is open from 1 June. However certain safety measures should be observed when visiting the cinema. Please follow the instructions and recommendations to help protect the wellbeing of all visitors (listed in the article).

On midsummer nights, film stars come to life in the courtyard of Ljubljana Castle. A programme of this season’s best films has once again been put together by Kinodvor, in collaboration with the City of Ljubljana and Ljubljana Castle. From 16 July to 8 August, tickets on sale from 11 July.

As of 1 June Kinodvor is open again. We are strictly following all rules and recommendations by the health authorities for a safe and comfortable visit to the cinema.

We are happy to inform you that Kinodvor has re-opened on Monday, 26 April. On sunny days the Café’s garden is also open. Welcome back!

In order to stay in contact with our loyal audience during the spring lockdown we offered tips for shorts, documentaries and features one can watch online free-of-charge.

Until further notice there are no projections and events in Kinodvor. Our café is aslo closed.
