Film in Hospital

A guide with a wide range of high-quality content, concrete information and practical advice as well as possible results that can help you during your journey with children and young people in hospitals.

From 26 February to 1 March, a cinema day was held at the Paediatrics Clinic and Soča Rehabilitation Institute. This year we have again organised playful activities while watching four short films.

On 19 December, together with our partners, we presented a festive movie day to children and young people receiving treatment at the Ljubljana Paediatric Clinic and the Soča Rehabilitation Institute.

In the last week of March, we worked with various partners to bring colourful film content to a special day at the hospital school.

In the new school year, Kinodvor will enable children and teens being treated in hospitals access to a colourful film world via the Film in Hospital internet platform, which is part of an international project.

As part of the international project Film in Hospital Kinodvor made ten special Kinobalon Suitcases for hospital rooms and playrooms in the Division of Paediatrics – University Medical Centre Ljubljana.

In December, we will begin our cooperation in the international project Film in Hospital, which has received MEDIA support for its continuation. The project’s objective is to provide children and young people being treated in hospitals with access to quality films and film education content by establishing new online platforms.
