This documentary film follows Silvana Imam, a young artist who with her rap and rebellious stance tires to make it on the Swedish music scene. In her lyrics, she courageously and bluntly challenges the generally accepted views on the position of women, LGBT issues, racism and inequality. While Silvana inspires numerous girls and women, we follow her intimate love story. But like every rising star, she too faces misunderstandings, critiques and the pressures of fame. At the end of the day, “there are no superheroes, only human beings”.
