The voyage through a wormhole is tricky and perilous even for an experienced pilot. Nova veers off course and, with the help of her talkative flying robot ADD, crash lands in the middle of a forest, almost a hundred kilometres away from her destination. An unforeseen side-effect of time travel makes Nova young again and she arrives in 2025 as a twelve-year old. Nobody seems to take her or her mission seriously, except for Nas – a teenage boy who tries to keep this mysterious girl and her robot out of the hands of a secret service agent, Claire. Will Nova and Nas succeed in saving the future world?

“I really wanted to do something with the climate change issue, but rather in a film you'd want to watch again and again: an exciting and hopeful film. Obviously, climate change is not a light subject, and the chance our Earth will be in serious trouble is quite high. But right now, the tide can still turn, so we chose to make a hopeful film.” (Maurice Trouwborst)
