Narrated by Jean-Marc Barr, who earned his first leading role playing Jacques Mayol in The Big Blue, the film takes us to the US, Japan, Italy, France, Greece and the Bahamas to meet Mayol's friends, family and fellow divers. Informed by rare archival footage, interviews and astonishing underwater footage, director Lefteris Charitos paints a portrait of a man who pushed the limits of his body to connect with nature.
