The Box Office is open from 15:10 till 19:00 (closed for today).
From 24 to 26 August 2015.

Organised for the first time on the occasion of Kinodvor’s 90 anniversary, Open-air cinema congress square continued to celebrate the art of film with a series of definitive all-time classics.

On August 29th 2015 Ingrid Bergman would have been a hundred. We will honour the – both European and Hollywood – star with a screening of one of the most popular movies of her career, Casablanca.

Orson Welles was born in the same year as Bergman and – like her – had a reputation that swayed back and forth between being considered quintessential Hollywood and free-spirited European art film. We payed tribute to the artist who never ceased to experiment with the screening of The Lady from Shanghai, in its latest manifestation: a 4K restoration of the original nitrate negative.

The last “star” and “stuff that dreams are made of” whose centenary we marked in 2015 was Technicolor, the process that has been bringing glorious colours to the screen ever since 1915. From a long trackrecord that includes dozens of marvels, we have chosen MGM’s musical masterpiece Singin’ in the Rain.
