Clara and Irène meet at summer camp. Although they are completely different - Clara is reserved and shy, while Irène is rebellious - they share a desire to discover love and freedom and fears of an uncertain future. Together, they escape to Sicily to the shelter of nature and the carefree summer. There, words are replaced by the sounds of shells, the sea and passers-by. They record their journey of self-discovery and acceptance with a VHS camera, which co-shapes the aesthetics of the film and evokes a sense of nostalgia.
