New York, the seventies. The iconic Studio 54 was a night club that forever marked an era and generation. It was the epicentre of hedonism, open minds and glamour – a magnet for glamorous stars, a place of random sex and wild cocaine parties. It was difficult to enter and even harder to not notice, with news about its famous guests filling the tabloids every day.
The documentary includes never-before-seen video footage and intimate interviews with insiders, including one of the two founders, and exposes the hidden story behind the rise and fall of “the greatest night club of all time”. The world premiere of the film was at the Sundance Festival.
