We will be joined by interesting film guests! They will be interviewed by members of the 9th generation of Kinotrip. The talks will be interpreted into Slovenian sign language.

My Summer with Irène (Carlo Sironi, 2024)
The story of two girls who escape from reality to Sicily, to the shelter of nature and the carefree summer. A film in which words are replaced by the sounds of lizards and the sea, touches and glances. Let the film take you through a landscape of feelings!
Followed by a talk with film critic Petra Meterc.

The Silent Roar (Johnny Barrington, 2023)
This waggishly wacky film, shot in a mystic landscape of a Scottish island and with all the hues of a wavy ocean, is an unusual story about Dondo, a young surfer who is still longing for his missing father.

KIX (Dávid Mikulán, Bálint Révész, 2024)
KIX is a cinematic odyssey, a documentary portrait of Sanyi growing up on the streets of Budapest, whose life is changed forever by a reckless moment. Let the film take you on the skateboard of a young rebel!
Followed by a talk with the film’s director Dávid Mikulán.
Kinotrip Photo and Video Highlights
The entire festival happening will be carefully recorded by a group of official young photo and video reporters. Ana Knez, Anja Molk and Peter Žiberna, students from the Ljubljana High School for Media and Graphic Technology, will capture all the interesting moments for you. Their mentors will be professors Miha Golob and Justina Gračner Botonjić.
